Site Map

In the site map you will find many useful tools to develop your new web site. Below are short descriptions for each area.

Manage Button: The manage button allows you to add new pages, move pages and make changes to your navigation preview.

Update Button: This button will update your pages whenever make edits to the name or the page number.

Site Page Button: The site page button is a useful tool. It will allow you to make modifications to a general area and a contents area. In the general area you can delete a page, make a page active, use an image for a button, create a custom link and also make edits to your page.

Header and Footer Templates: The Header template displays code above (at the start of) a site's content, similar to the function of letterhead stationary. By utilizing the header, you maintain a constant "look and feel" for all pages within your website. Conversely, the Footer displays at the end of a web page, providing an excellent opportunity to list contact information, popular links, or legal information. To edit a site's Header or Footer, click the edit icon located next to the template you wish to modify. You can also open the Header and Footer directly from the Content Editor.

Global Page Header Code:The Global Header Code allows you to modify code displayed within all <HEAD> tags of your website. Common uses include posting Meta Tags, styles, or scripting code. To edit the Global Header Code, click its editing icon within the Site Map. When your changes have been completed, click the Save Changes button. Changes are applied in real time.

Product Templates: The product templates are used for search result pages. You can use these templates for your listings and the more information pages.

Search Result Templates: A more advanced feature but similar to the product templates. Create new search result templates to use with your search queries. You may want to ask for help on this one.

MiniBasket: Part of your site's left-side navigation, the MiniBasket is displayed directly above site navigational links. Clicking the edit icon will open the Content Editor, allowing you to modify the MiniBasket.

Basket Page: The Basket Page displays the items added to a visitor's shopping cart. Once displayed, the visitor has the option of continuing to the checkout pages, removing items, updating quantities, or visiting other areas of your site.

Customer Information Page: Once a customer enters the checkout process, they are first presented with the Customer Information template. A blank Customer Information template will produce the above entry form; giving the customer to login with previous information or provide a new entry into your customer database.

Shipping & Payment: After successfully providing a name and shipping/billing information, a customer is then asked to select a shipping method and enter their payment information. The necessary form to create this page is called the Shipping Method template.

Mini Banner : The MiniBanner occupies the space directly below a site's navigation bar. Considered an advanced feature, the mini banner can be edited from within <HTML> mode of the content editor.

Almost any content can be added to the mini banner, including graphics, tables, and links. To edit the MiniBanner, click its editing icon located within the Site Map. You may also open the MiniBanner directly within the Content Editor.

Find & Replace Data Tags: The Find & Replace feature allows you to create custom data tags for use throughout your site. Common uses for custom data tags include Company Name, Phone Numbers, and Email Addresses. This feature is useful for keeping contact information up to date with a minimal amount of effort.
