Your Changes Are Not Appearing, Check Your Caching

You have to change a settting in your Internet Explorer browser to make sure that you aren't looking at CACHED (or older version) of your web site pages.

Chances are that the changes WERE saved but you are looking at a cached copy of the page which your browser stores on your local hard drive to speed things up for you.

First, here's how to override that browser problem:

  • In your Internet Explorer browser, click "Tools" up in very top menu bar.
  • select "Internet Options" in Tools menu
  • Click "Settings" button under 'Temporary Internet Files' area in box that pops up

  • Select 'Every Visit to Page' in menu that's there, click Apply and OK to close box.

Next, here's how to enable your folder FTP view:

  • In your Internet Explorer browser, click "Tools" up in very top menu bar.
  • Select "Internet Options" in Tools menu.
  • Click the "Advanced Tab".
  • Check "Enable folder view for FTP sites" and click ok.
