help_removeitem

To remove an item TEMPORARILY do this:

Login and go to your CATALOG area, then down under where it says :

"Catalogs and Sections"

click the section that contains the item you want to remove, and a list
will appear at right showing all the items within that section.

Unselect the Checkbox and click "Item Update".

(the item will still be there in your database but will not show up
until you re-categorize it.)

To remove an item PERMANENTLY do this:

Note: You must *remove the item* from any categories or sections that
it's presently classified in before deleting an item... (this is a
safeguard for your protection) so if you don't see the item when you
click "Uncategorized items" link... do the following:

Login and go to your CATALOG area, then click the link that says "Full
Item List"

Click the item you want to remove on the list that appears at right.

Scroll down to the "Categories and Sections item appears in" area and
DESELECT all entries there by "Control-Clicking" (press the Control
button while clicking) any entries in that box. In other words, the
box should not have any selections in it when you're done...

Click "Update Item Info" to save your edit...

Then, the last step, DELETE THE ITEM for good by clicking
"Uncategorized items" and then finding your item at right when the page
refreshes, and click the red "DEL" next to your item.

Your item will be gone for good!
